How To Keep My Housemates From Being Bothered By My Snoring?

I have a loud snore partially because I’m overweight. I live in my own room. There are seven rooms for seven people (The owner has a special permit). I’m worried that my snoring will bother other people especially the people next to me. The walls between the rooms aren’t thick. Any suggestions?

    Have you tried Breathe-Right strips?
If you have medical insurance, have you discussed this with your doctor? You may actually have a medical condition known as sleep apnea, which can be controlled by wearing a special mask-like device while you sleep. If you have sleep apnea and let it go untreated, you are at great risk of developing heart disease and possibly even sudden death.

I’m 100% with the last guy. Snoring that’s loud enough to bother people in other rooms could well be a sign of sleep apnea. In other words, you could be snoring because you actually stop breathing at night. That’s not good. Get it checked out.

Most snoring comes from the throat and not from the nasal passages.
You should try a Slumber Guard – because the nasal strips and sprays were just a waste of money for me.
    Slumber Guard worked for me.

. My friend got that breathing machine and never snores. It pumps air in his nose.
